The sky in this picture, and at this time was amazing, it was so black, it was like night, only you will see by the shadows, we sat in the sun. It was amazing to see the snow, sleet and rain storm blow across the moor and simply vanish, as if it achieved what it set out to do.

The time on the moor was a blessing. We spend so much time hemmed in by the city, concrete, cars and life, that to having aching leg, burning lungs and a renewed sense of awe at God’s creation and his plans for us was good.
